Resolved Question: Why is dark skin viewed as unattractive?

People of all colors are beautiful. But in society and the media, it seems as if dark skin is seen as unfavorable and ugly. Yes, yes. There are dark skin actresses and singers, like Kelly Rowland and Gabrielle union. But do we really see them? Compared to how much we see Beyonce and Halle berry? Light skin I think is more favored by people in the media. Do you see a lot of dark skin women on the covers of magazines or even in them on occasion. I don't get it. If you can have red heads and blondes and brunettes for white people.
